Find the amount in each syringe unit

amount per unit = vial amount ÷ (mL × 100)

Because a U-100 syringe has 100 units per milliliter, the total solution volume determines how many syringe units contain the vial amount.

Convert the target to units

syringe units = target amount ÷ amount per unit

The vial and target may be entered in mg or mcg. The calculator normalizes the units before applying the formula.

What does the calculator determine?

It converts a vial amount, liquid volume, and target amount you enter into the corresponding marking on a U-100, 1 mL syringe.

Why is the result shown in syringe units?

A U-100 syringe has 100 units per 1 mL, so each unit equals 0.01 mL. The calculator applies that fixed volume conversion after calculating concentration.

Can I use mg or mcg?

Yes. The vial amount and target amount can each be entered in either milligrams or micrograms. Changing a unit automatically preserves the underlying quantity.

Does it decide what amount to use?

No. It only converts an amount you enter. It does not recommend a target amount or provide medical, treatment, reconstitution, or administration advice.

Does reconstitution prove purity or potency?

No. Concentration math cannot establish identity, purity, measured content, sterility, endotoxin, contaminants, stability, or safety.

Are calculator entries stored?

No. The math runs in the browser. Compound IQ records only an anonymous calculator-use event, not the numbers entered or the result.
